Job Summary
Provide high-level service to retail and installer customers; support store management in completing tasks; greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and perform related selling activities. Handle phone inquiries, lookup parts, quote prices, and process transactions with accurate cash handling. Maintain and secure cash drawer, process exchanges/returns, and resolve customer complaints. Assist with daily store operations including stocking, planogram updates, freight receival, and basic vehicle-service tasks. Occasional delivery driving may be required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged; ASE certification and automotive knowledge are preferred. Emphasizes customer service programs, training, and opportunities for career growth within the company.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
- Knowledge of automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service (preferred)
