Job Summary
The Parts Specialist role focuses on providing exceptional service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management tasks. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting in merchandise selection, handling phone inquiries, maintaining cash register operations, processing exchanges, resolving customer complaints, and performing various operational tasks. Candidates must be able to multitask, match alphanumeric sequences quickly, and ensure outstanding customer service. Bilingual abilities are encouraged, with a focus on Spanish. Additional training in automotive services and equipment operation will be provided.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging
- Weatherly index system
- Automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
