Job Summary
Parts Specialist provides high-level service to retail and installer customers, assists store management with tasks, and supports in-store operations and product selection. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise choices, handling phone inquiries, looking up parts and quoting prices, processing transactions and returns, resolving customer complaints, assisting with image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves, handling freight receivals, inventory counts, and operating store test equipment after training. Desirable skills include bilingual ability (Spanish preferred), familiarity with automotive parts, and knowledge of stock/catalog systems; ASE certification is noted as a desirable qualification. The role emphasizes delivering outstanding customer service, accuracy in cash handling, multitasking, and contributing to store-wide processes and customer satisfaction.
