Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone inquiries, and assist professional customers while promoting company programs like the Low-Price Guarantee. Process exchanges, returns, and credit card transactions, maintain the cash drawer, and complete daily image maker and planogram updates including stocking and cleaning. Operate brake lathe and test equipment, prepare merchandise returns for the distribution center, perform inventory cycle counts, and drive delivery vehicles when needed. Install wipers, test batteries, scan trouble codes, and replace headlight capsules for customers where state laws allow. Complete assigned company training and support store management with assigned tasks. Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
