Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, assist them in selecting merchandise, and answer phone calls to quote prices and recommend parts while promoting programs like Hi-5 and the Low-Price Guarantee. Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions, handle exchanges and returns, and resolve customer complaints. Maintain inventory through cycle counts and stock adjustments, update planograms, and perform daily operational tasks including freight receival and stocking. Operate brake lathes and test equipment after training, and occasionally drive a delivery vehicle. Complete assigned company training and support store management with assigned tasks. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
