Job Summary
The Parts Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional service to retail and installer customers, greeting them courteously, and assisting with merchandise selection. Key responsibilities include maintaining and securing the cash drawer, processing transactions, handling exchanges and returns, resolving customer complaints, and assisting with store operational tasks such as stocking and inventory management. Candidates must possess strong customer service skills, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to accurately match alphanumeric sequences.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging skills
- Weatherly index system knowledge
- Automotive sales or service experience
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
