Job Summary
The Parts Specialist is responsible for providing high levels of customer service to both retail and installer customers. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting in merchandise selection, and supporting management with assigned tasks. The role requires multitasking to handle both phone and in-store customers seamlessly. Essential duties involve maintaining cash drawer accuracy, processing exchanges, addressing customer complaints, assisting with store inventory tasks, and performing in-store services in compliance with local laws. This position also entails operating store test equipment and making deliveries when necessary, with adherence to company safety and operational protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
