Job Summary
The Parts Specialist will provide high levels of customer service to retail and installer customers, assist store management in tasks, and promote company customer service programs. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, maintaining cash drawer accuracy, processing exchanges and returns, resolving customer complaints, updating inventory, and operating store test equipment. Further duties involve performing in-store customer services where legally permitted and occasionally handling deliveries when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging
- Weatherly index system
- Automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
