Job Summary
Parts Specialist responsibilities include providing high-level service to retail and installer customers, supporting store management, greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, answering phones, looking up parts and quoting prices, processing transactions, handling exchanges/returns, resolving customer complaints, assisting with image-maker and planogram tasks, stocking and shelving, preparing returns to distribution, inventory counts, and operating store equipment after training. Preferred candidates are bilingual (Spanish), knowledgeable about automotive parts/catalogs, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail setting. Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Multitask in-store and phone interactions
- Familiarity with automotive parts cataloging and sales
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
- ASE certification desired
- Ability to operate store test equipment after training
- Ability to drive a delivery vehicle when needed (driving eligibility requirements)
