Job Summary
The Parts Specialist provides exceptional customer service to both retail and installer customers, assisting them in selecting merchandise and maintaining operational efficiency within the store. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, accurately handling transactions, resolving complaints, and performing in-store services such as testing and charging batteries. The role requires multitasking and strong customer interaction skills, along with familiarity with automotive parts and systems. Candidates are encouraged to have friendly communication skills and may benefit from bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging
- Weatherly index system
- Automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
