Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone calls, and assist professional customers while promoting company programs like Hi-5 and the Low-Price Guarantee. Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions; handle exchanges and returns; and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner. Maintain the cash drawer securely and complete daily image maker and planogram updates, including stocking shelves, cleaning, and freight receival. Perform operational tasks such as inventory cycle counts, merchandise returns, and operate brake lathe test equipment after training. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate. Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
