Job Summary
Parts Specialist provides high-level service to retail and installer customers, supports store management, greets customers, assists with part selection, processes cash/credit transactions, handles exchanges/returns, supports stock/planogram updates, and performs in-store services and occasional deliveries. Bilingual candidates are encouraged; ASE certification and familiarity with automotive parts/sales/tools are desirable. The role emphasizes customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call) and maintaining store operations, including cash handling, inventory tasks, and coordinating with management and service specialists.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Multitask: handle customers on the phone and in-store
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
- Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service (desired)
- Able to perform in-store services and operate store test equipment after training
