Job Summary
The Parts Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality service to retail and installer customers. Key tasks include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, resolving complaints, maintaining the cash drawer, managing exchanges and returns, and performing daily operational tasks such as stocking and inventory adjustments. The role requires outstanding customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and may involve operating store test equipment and making deliveries as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging
- Weatherly index system
- Automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
