Job Summary
Parts Specialist at O’Reilly Auto Parts provides high-level service to retail and installer customers, greets walk-in customers, assists managers and service specialists, processes calls and returns, handles cash and credit transactions, conducts in-store services (e.g., installing wipers, testing batteries, charging systems, scanning trouble codes), and participates in stock and display tasks. The role supports store operations, applies company customer service programs, and may involve occasional delivery vehicle duties. Bilingual candidates encouraged; opportunity for growth within a promote-from-within culture. The position emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, order processing, and handling daily store duties in a hands-on retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Multitask in-store and on the phone
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
- Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service (desired)
- ASE certification (desired)
