Job Summary
The Parts Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer service to both retail and installer customers, assisting store management with assigned tasks, and addressing customer complaints. This role involves greeting customers, handling cash transactions, maintaining inventory, and performing in-store services like testing batteries and replacing headlight capsules. Proficiency in multitasking and a strong service orientation are essential, along with the ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
