Job Summary
The Parts Specialist is responsible for providing high-level service to retail and installer customers by assisting with merchandise selection, addressing customer complaints, and processing transactions including exchanges, returns, and payments. This role involves answering phone calls, maintaining cash drawers, completing assigned company training, and managing various operational tasks such as stock adjustments and inventory cycle counts. Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, multitasking abilities, and a familiarity with automotive parts and sales.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging experience
- Automotive sales or service experience
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
