Job Summary
The Parts Specialist provides high-level customer service to retail and installer customers, assists in merchandise selection, and supports store management with assigned tasks. Responsibilities include greeting customers, accurately processing transactions, managing cash drawer operations, handling returns, addressing customer complaints, and performing daily operational tasks. The role also involves operating test equipment and performing in-store services for customers. Must meet company driving eligibility requirements for occasional delivery duties.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging skills
- Weatherly index system
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
