Job Summary
The Parts Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management. Essential functions include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, and responding to customer queries via phone. Responsibilities include managing cash transactions, processing returns, and addressing customer complaints. The role requires multitasking and operational tasks, such as stocking and inventory management, while maintaining professionalism in customer interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging experience
- Weatherly index system knowledge
- Automotive sales or service experience
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
