Job Summary
The Parts Specialist will deliver high levels of customer service to both retail and installer customers. Key responsibilities include assisting customers with merchandise selection, handling phone inquiries, maintaining the cash drawer, processing transactions, and resolving customer complaints. In-store services may involve testing automotive parts and occasionally driving for deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, multitasking abilities, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging experience
- Weatherly index system knowledge
- Automotive sales or service experience
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
