Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone calls, and assist installer service specialists with professional customer needs. Maintain the cash drawer, process credit card transactions, and handle exchanges and returns in accordance with company policy. Resolve customer complaints, update image makers and planograms, and perform daily operational tasks including inventory cycle counts and merchandise returns. Operate brake lathe and test equipment after training, perform in-store services like battery testing and code scanning, and make deliveries when required. Complete assigned company training and promote customer service programs such as the Low-Price Guarantee. Bilingual candidates encouraged; ASE certification and familiarity with automotive parts are desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
