Job Summary
Parts Specialist provides high-level service to retail and installer customers; greets customers, assists in selecting merchandise, supports store management in tasks, handles phone inquiries, processes exchanges/returns, maintains cash drawer, assists with planogram updates and stock, may drive deliveries when needed, and benefits from bilingual skills and ASE resonance; the role emphasizes excellent customer service, product knowledge, inventory tasks, and compliance with company policies. Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Multitask—handle customers on the phone and in-store
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
- Ability to operate store test equipment after training
- Ability to drive a delivery vehicle when needed (driving record must meet eligibility)
- Experience with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service (ASE certification is a plus)
- Ability to process cash and credit card transactions
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to address and resolve customer complaints
