Job Summary
The Parts Specialist will provide high-level service to retail and installer customers while assisting store management with assigned tasks. Key responsibilities include promoting customer service programs, greeting customers, assisting in merchandise selection, maintaining the cash drawer, processing transactions, resolving customer complaints, and performing daily operational tasks like inventory management. A successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, multitasking abilities, and knowledge of automotive parts.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
