Job Summary
The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service, greet customers, assist in merchandise selection, and support store management with assigned tasks. Responsibilities include handling phone inquiries, looking up parts and quotes, offering related items, processing cash/credit transactions, exchanges/returns, resolving customer complaints, and assisting with daily operational duties such as image maker, planogram updates, freight receival, stocking, and fronting. May perform in-store services (e.g., installing wipers, testing batteries, diagnosing vehicle issues) and, when needed, drive a delivery vehicle. Desired: familiarity with automotive parts/cataloging and multilingual fluency (Spanish highly desired); ASE certification is noted as a desirable qualification. The role emphasizes customer service, upselling, adherence to company policies, and promoting a strong promote-from-within culture.
