Job Summary
Parts Specialist provides high-level service to retail and installer customers, supports store management in tasks, greets customers, assists with merchandise selection, processes exchanges/returns, handles phone inquiries, and performs daily store operations (stocking, planogram updates, image maker), with occasional deliveries. Bilingual candidates encouraged; ASE certification is desirable. Stores uses customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call) and emphasizes accurate cash handling, credit card processing, and maintaining store standards. Knowledge of automotive parts and ability to use related equipment and test tools is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
- Ability to operate cash drawer and process cash and/or checks, accurately making change, and processing credit card transactions
