Job Summary
The Parts Specialist is responsible for delivering high levels of customer service to retail and installer customers. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, answering phone inquiries and processing transactions. The role requires maintaining the cash drawer and processing exchanges and returns. Additionally, the Parts Specialist will perform various operational tasks such as stocking shelves and assisting with inventory. Skills required include multitasking and excellent customer service. This position offers opportunities for career growth within O’Reilly Auto Parts.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Cataloging
- Weatherly index system
- Automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
