Job Summary

Sell, stock, receive, and deliver parts and accessories for John Deere and other equipment while providing excellent in-store and phone customer service. Assist customers with ordering, researching, and sourcing parts, and maintain organized displays and showroom merchandising. Work with vendors to fulfill customer needs, monitor inventory shortages, and expedite orders to maintain stock levels. Support audit compliance through accurate recordkeeping and collaborate with internal teams. This role requires a clean driving record, ability to work flexible hours including a Saturday rotation, and physical stamina for lifting up to 75 lbs. Forklift certification is preferred, and training is provided for warehouse equipment operation.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with good phone etiquette
  • Basic computer and data entry/keyboarding skills; ability to research parts online
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including participation in a Saturday rotation
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workday
  • Frequent use of hands for handling parts, operating tools, computer, and phone
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs. regularly
  • Requires close vision for reading, inventory, and computer work
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
  • Sufficient hearing required to communicate in active warehouse and work environments
  • Must be able to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if not certified)
  • Successful applicants will be required to complete a background check, including criminal history and a drug screening, prior to the start of employment
  • For certain positions, a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are also required

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous parts or service experience in automotive, heavy equipment, or related industries preferred
  • 3-5 years parts counter experience
  • Forklift certification
  • Familiarity with John Deere equipment, or other agricultural, turf, or construction machinery
  • Prior experience in parts sales, service, or inventory management
