Job Summary
Parts Specialist behind the counter in the parts department and be the “parts go-to” person Monday-Friday. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, working with vendors and customers to provide parts promptly, preparing shipments, organizing and shipping parts, supporting shipping/receiving, creating and maintaining SOPs for shipping and receiving, researching pricing, upselling to retail customers, handling exchanges and warranty claims, reducing overstock and obsolete parts, supporting the service department to ensure stocking and timely parts arrival, and following up with customers after sale. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous parts experience
- 2+ years' experience working in parts department for heavy-duty diesel and/or construction equipment shop preferred
- Product knowledge
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Customer facing experience
- Basic reading and math skills
- Strong attention to detail
