Parts Specialist

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• •Basic reading and math skills
• •Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• •Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
• •Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop, bend, kneel, and climb stairs
• •Must be able to push, pull, twist, and work in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels
• •Must be able to work in a smoke-free and drug-free environment
• •Must pass a background check and drug screen (including THC)
• •Must be available for Monday-Friday hours
• •Must be able to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
• •Must be able to work closely with vendors and customers to provide parts in a timely manner
• •Must be able to prepare/perform daily & weekly shipments
• •Must be able to organize and ship parts
• •Must be able to provide shipping and receiving department support when needed
• •Must be able to create and maintain standard operating procedures for shipping & receiving
• •Must be able to research websites and vendor databases for parts pricing
• •Must be able to assist customers with exchanges, returns and warranty claims
• •Must be able to follow up with retail customers after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction
• •Must be able to support Service Department to ensure adequate stocking and timely arrival of necessary parts
• •Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• •Must have customer facing experience
• •Must have strong attention to detail

Desired Qualifications

• •At least one year of experience in working with parts sales and delivery
• •Experience with heavy equipment parts
• •2+ years' experience working in parts department for heavy-duty diesel and/or construction equipment shop
• •Product knowledge
