Job Summary
Manage parts inventory, process orders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of machine tool components. Provide technical support to customers by researching part numbers, troubleshooting issues, and recommending compatible parts. Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate ERP records while collaborating with supply chain teams to optimize fulfillment. Assist in managing returns, warranty claims, and forecasting demand for critical components. This role supports Sales, Service, and internal operations within Methods Machine Tools, one of North America's largest privately owned machine tool importers. Approximately 25% of the time is spent traveling.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3+ years of experience in parts management, inventory control, or technical sales within the machine tool or industrial sector
- Strong understanding of machine tool components, parts schematics, and technical documentation
- Proficiency in ERP and inventory management systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Approximately 25% of time travel
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
