Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, answer phone calls, and assist professional customers as directed. Follow and promote company customer service programs, accurately look up parts and quote prices, and resolve complaints. Process exchanges, returns, and credit card transactions while maintaining and securing the cash drawer. Complete daily image maker updates, planogram changes, and inventory cycle counts. Operate brake lathes and test equipment after training, and perform in-store services like installing wipers and testing batteries. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate. Multitask handling customers on the phone and in the store simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
- ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
