Job Summary
Greet retail and walk-in customers, assist them in merchandise selection, and answer phone calls to look up parts, quote prices, and offer the Low-Price Guarantee. Process exchanges, returns, and credit card transactions while maintaining the cash drawer. Complete daily image maker updates, planogram changes, and inventory cycle counts. Operate brake lathe and test equipment after training, and perform in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries, and scanning trouble codes. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service ASE certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
