Job Summary
The Parts Specialist will deliver high-level service to both retail and installer customers, greet customers, assist in selecting merchandise, support store management, and process transactions. Responsibilities include answering calls, looking up parts and prices, offering related items, handling cash and card payments, processing exchanges/returns, resolving customer issues, performing daily image maker and planogram tasks (stocking, shelving, merchandising), and assisting with occasional vehicle deliveries. Desired skills include familiarity with automotive parts/cataloging, bilingual (Spanish) communication, and ASE certification. The role emphasizes customer service, accurate cash handling, and supporting both professional customers and store operations; training and advancement opportunities are highlighted within a promote-from-within culture.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
- Multitasking in-store and phone interactions
- Familiarity with automotive parts and cataloging (desired)
- Bilingual in Spanish (highly desired)
- Delivery driving ability (driving record must meet requirements)
- Ability to operate store test equipment after training
