Job Summary
Coordinate and schedule service appointments between customers and service technicians to ensure efficient resource use and timely delivery. Manage parts inventory by ordering, receiving, and tracking items to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent service delays. Communicate with customers regarding parts availability and service status, while collaborating with suppliers to expedite orders and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of parts usage, service orders, and customer interactions to support reporting and continuous improvement efforts. Forecast parts demand and improve inventory turnover using ERP systems and inventory control techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possesses experience in parts coordination, service scheduling, or a related administrative role
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possesses customer service experience with an emphasis on problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Demonstrates proficiency with inventory management and scheduling software
- Demonstrates familiarity with ERP systems and inventory control techniques
- Demonstrates the ability to analyze data, forecast parts demand, and improve inventory turnover
Desired Qualifications
- Possesses experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or heavy equipment industry preferred
- Possesses an associate degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred
