Job Summary
Conduct customer visits, answer calls, and handle walk-ins to grow and maintain business for the Parts Sales Department. Manage warehouse operations including stocking, picking, packing, and shipping/receiving parts via UPS, FedEx, and common carriers. Perform actual physical inventory twice annually, maintain clean and safe warehouse standards, and oversee inventory parts management. Provide part quotes, process purchase orders, and complete daily invoicing while ensuring timely part delivery to customers or contractors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Prior sales experience
- Comfort with growing sales in the local market
- Recent class two walk-behind stacker experience
- Willingness to learn
- Inventory management experience
- Experience palletizing parts to be shipped
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds safely
- One year of daily computer experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent recent customer service experience
- Proven safety record
- Knowledge of hazard communication standards
- Experience with safety data sheets
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Knowledge of ladder safety
- Knowledge of electrical safety
- Knowledge of portable fire extinguisher use
- Ability to perform manual lifting/handling
Desired Qualifications
- Some warehouse or similar inventory storage experience
- Experience using Fed Ex Ship Manager
- Similar experience to Fed Ex Ship Manager
