Job Summary
Maximize sales within the assigned territory by calling on garages, jobbers, fleet owners and leasing companies; promote parts and accessories and advise wholesale and retail customers; establish payment terms and obtain credit approval; solicit new business daily; conduct surveys of mass-merchandising outlets; train on features, advantages and benefits of products; keep the Parts Manager informed of market conditions; travel as needed to drive growth and achieve unit goals and gross profit.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 5 years sales experience in truck/commercial equipment sales
- valid driver's license
- preferred Commercial Driver's License (CDL) but not required
- flexibility to travel and work varied hours (evenings, weekends)
