Parts Sales Representative - Outside

Job Summary
Sells heavy duty and light duty truck parts, maintains liaison with current customers, and solicits new business to cultivate assigned territories. Promotes sales of parts and accessories while acting as an advisor to wholesale or retail clients. Successfully completes product and sales training courses and maintains full working knowledge of all company systems, procedures, and policies. Keeps up to date on new products and maintains parts-related correspondence. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to sit while driving for up to 1.5 hours, and capacity to work 8-12 hour days with frequent weather exposure. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Associate's degree (AA)
- Prior Sales experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Computer, mathematical and customer service skills
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to work in a dealership environment to include 8 - 12 hour days with frequent exposure to weather elements
- Ability to demonstrate or display extensive product knowledge to customer and staff to assist with purchase decisions
- Must be highly organized, detail oriented and results driven

- Ability to sit throughout day while driving to and from various customer locations; average longest single durations approximately 1.5 hours; must also sit while driving fork-lift for short period of time
