Job Summary
Sell the tiered portfolio of parts over the counter, to the service department, and via special orders while meeting monthly sales goals through Aftermarket promotions. Provide excellent customer service at the counter or on the phone, educate clients through product demonstrations, and execute standard department processes to ensure satisfaction. Utilize computer applications including Sales Manual, JD Parts®, Parts Expert®, JD Point®, PartsAdvisor®, barcode systems, and Dealer Business System to manage inventory integrity and daily operations. Maintain a clean, orderly parts department, ensure tools and vehicles are in good working order, and adhere to safety programs. Lift items up to 75 lbs routinely.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of Parts experience or equivalent sales or service experience
- Experience connecting with customers, maintains professional image, establishes rapport
- Demonstrates basic understanding of the selling processes
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence
- Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
- Experience working both independently and in a team setting
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs and routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs
