Job Summary
Sell products and services to meet customer needs while supplying Service Technicians with parts as required. Verify receipting of shipments, assist with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders, and maintain merchandise displays. Keep the parts department clean and orderly, expediting shortages by reporting to the manager, and ensure departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles remain in good working order. Lift items up to 75 lbs and use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application. Some Saturdays required.
Required Qualifications
- Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
- Basic parts and machinery knowledge
- Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Must be willing to work some Saturdays
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Fork lift license
