Job Summary
Parts Sales role responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories; in-store customer service, merchandise displays, and stocking duties. Core duties include promoting and selling products to meet customer needs, supplying service technicians with parts, maintaining inventory locations, keeping the parts department clean and orderly, following up on shortages, expediting issues to the manager, and ensuring tools and equipment are in good working order. Requires basic data entry, parts and machinery knowledge, ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog, teamwork, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and a High School diploma or equivalent (forklift license preferred); willingness to work some Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
- Basic parts and machinery knowledge
- Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Fork lift license preferred
- Must be willing to work some Saturdays
