Job Summary
Operates company owned light duty trucks and trailers to transport materials inbound, outbound and between Milford locations. Delivers materials to customer yards and jobsites. Prepares materials for transport and loads relevant equipment. Secures materials for movement during the transport of loads. Works with team members to ensure materials are delivered safely and on schedule. Maintains daily/weekly logs and DOT paperwork. Inspects and maintains transportation equipment, follows safe loading practices, and communicates with team. Requires DOT qualifications, safety certifications (H2S/PEC and forklift), and the ability to pass a competency-based driving test; occasional extended travel and overnight stays.
Required Qualifications
- 1 Year experience in transportation or related role, required.
- Obtain client specific safety training provided by Milford within 2 months.
- Ability to provide H2S and PEC Certification and/or pass Milford offered course upon onboarding.
- Ability to provide Forklift Certification and/or pass Milford offered course upon onboarding.
- PHMSA drug testing in accordance with Milford policies.
- Valid driver’s license and pass MVR in accordance with Milford policies.
- Background check as per Milford policies and procedures
- Constant travel with occasional overnight stays as required by business needs.
