Job Summary
Issue parts, tools, and supplies to maintenance and production personnel using ERP/CMMS transactions, while receiving, inspecting, and shelving incoming components with accurate system records. Maintain organized storage areas using 5S, FIFO, and clearly defined locations, operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely. Process inventory movements in D365, conduct cycle counts, and support inventory cleanup by identifying duplicate or obsolete parts. Kit parts for preventive maintenance and shutdown work orders, coordinating with planners to confirm availability and reduce technician search time. Support the ongoing transition from the legacy parts area into the new spare parts room featuring Lista Storage Walls, assisting with labeling and integrating Injection Molding parts. Work independently on the 2nd shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, communicating effectively with 1st shift and leadership to address urgent breakdown needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a parts room, storeroom, warehouse, maintenance support, inventory control, or similar environment
- Internal candidates with 6+ months of relevant manufacturing or packaging experience
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP/CMMS inventory transactions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate inventory records, labeling, and documentation
- Ability to work independently on 2nd shift while communicating effectively with 1st shift, maintenance, production, and leadership
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, reach, walk, and move throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities and urgent maintenance needs
- Commitment to safe work practices, housekeeping, and responsible material handling
