Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts, materials, and supplies while issuing items to maintenance and production personnel. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, monitor inventory levels, and notify staff when stock replenishment is required. Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits, process purchase requisitions, and coordinate with vendors regarding deliveries and discrepancies. Inspect safety equipment and ensure PPE is stocked throughout the plant, organizing the parts room according to established procedures. Maintain computerized inventory management systems and research part numbers to identify replacement components. Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate material handling equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Higher
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, or obtain certification
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels
Desired Qualifications
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components preferred
- Previous experience in a similar setting is a plus
