Job Summary
Maintain inventory in the tracking system, keep the parts room clean and orderly, and receive all maintenance parts while signing vendor tickets. Stock inventory, organize files, and collect data to be entered into the SAP computer database system. Update records with new information, create spreadsheets, and generate reports stored in designated locations. Verify data by checking source documentation and transfer written records to compile standardized reports. Prioritize daily work with minimum supervision and maintain a safe work environment adhering to Tyson policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to type at least 45 wpm
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Mechanical aptitude to learn various equipment components and tools
- Must be able to meet essential job functions for this job classification
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and write
- Strong attention to detail while following concise instructions
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to verify data by correctly checking and comparing source documentation
- Create and organize spreadsheets with appropriate information
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations
- Must maintain a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- May not have four (4) or more attendance points on an eight (8) point policy on date of application
- No written warnings in the past six (6) months
- No recorded suspensions in the last twelve (12) months
- 1ST SHIFT (United States of America)
