Job Summary
Identify needed parts using catalogs and computer systems, bill merchandise orders, and make inventory control entries while distributing special and warranty parts. Pull internal and external customer parts, advise on substitutions, examine returned items for defects, and process payment transactions. Check in daily freight and stock orders, place service orders for non-stock parts, and ship all customer orders. Load and unload LTL deliveries, restock unsold merchandise, and maintain cleanliness in the work area. Promote dealership specials, perform phone sales, and assist with annual physical inventory. Work a flexible schedule as needed, including evenings and weekends, while adhering to all company policies.
Required Qualifications
- One year certificate from a college or technical school
- At least three years related experience
- Experience in Shipping/Receiving
- Experience in Parts Distribution
- Ability to drive a Fork Lift
- Able to work overtime, including evenings and/or weekends
- Able to stand for an extensive amount of time
- Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs

- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet
- Basic knowledge of office machines, including copier, fax, and printer
