Job Summary
The Parts & Rental Sales Coordinator role centers on developing customer relationships to increase branch sales and rental/parts revenue. Responsibilities include proactively contacting existing and prospective customers via phone, email, and in-person visits to generate rental, parts, service, and equipment sales opportunities; maintaining strong customer relationships to boost retention and identify additional sales opportunities; assisting customers with parts questions and fulfilling customer orders; entering customer and inventory data into the system; ensuring orders are correctly entered for parts purchases and equipment rentals; handling phones and emails, responding to messages, and maintaining organized inventory; performing inventory counts and ensuring rental documentation and checkout procedures are followed; collaborating with the Branch Manager to support customer needs and branch profitability; and exemplifying Total Equipment Core Values (Teamwork, Excellence, Passion, Integrity, Customer First). Required skills include effective communication with customers, ability to work with diverse personalities, ability to work with minimal supervision, and capability to operate standard office equipment and compact industrial equipment. Education and Experience requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and one year of customer service/sales experience, preferably in the compact equipment industry. Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds and comfortable with prolonged desk/computer work and mobility around the facility.
