Job Summary
Purchasing Administrator for propane and HVAC parts responsible for procuring parts, managing vendor relationships, communicating pricing, issuing purchase orders, coordinating part installations, tracking warranties, and ensuring accurate pricing in the system. Responsibilities include maintaining active vendor lists, placing stock orders based on lowest-cost vendors, coordinating urgent requests and expedited deliveries, contacting customers to approve orders and schedule installs, negotiating pricing with vendors, tracking year-end inventory and price checks, and supporting Area Managers with reporting. Must work with Salesforce to update package and parts pricing and maintain vendor profiles; schedule runs Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in procurement or purchasing administration is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams
- Proficiency with purchasing systems and vendor management
- Knowledge of HVAC or propane industry is a plus
