Job Summary
Automotive Parts Puller responsible for locating, identifying, and removing auto parts from vehicles in salvage yards; operate forklifts and other lift equipment to move parts between storage areas; perform quality control, label items, and input data into computer systems; manage organization and disposal of scrap/core materials; maintain a clean and orderly workspace and complete required paperwork; requires 1 year of hands-on automotive mechanic experience, ability to work outdoors in various weather, own and maintain essential tools, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift 75 lbs; day shift, Palmyra, NY area; transitioning military professionals are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of hands-on automotive mechanic focused experience which includes the repair and/or removal of automotive parts
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude with understanding of automotive parts and their functions
- Must own and maintain essential mechanical tools
- Physical ability to lift at least 75 lbs
