Job Summary
Receive, unpack, arrange, and store goods while gathering, packing, and loading items for dispatch. Inspect inventory for damage and faults, confirm stock counts, and mark or label materials. Load and unload delivery vehicles, wrap stock on pallets, and build loads using a forklift and electronic pallet jack. Communicate errors and report discrepancies to relevant parties. Travel to different locations to drop off parts. Ensure the work environment remains clean, tidy, and safe. Requires forklift proficiency, physical strength, and ability to work extended hours.
Required Qualifications
- Work experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouse
- Ability to operate forklift proficiently
- Completion of background investigation and drug screening
- Strong people skills
- Good moral character
- Physically strong, agile and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions
- Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance
- Available to work extended hours
