Job Summary
Lead Gas Genset parts planning for the Americas by developing and optimizing stocking strategies for spare parts in partnership with Service, Parts Support, and Order Management teams. Execute SAP material planning, manage supplier performance and escalations, and coordinate internal transportation to ensure on-time availability. Drive inventory performance to meet targets for part availability, on-time delivery, and Net Working Capital while proactively escalating risks. Manage continuous improvement initiatives and deliver special projects as required. This role supports rapid business growth driven by surging demand from the Data Center market within Rolls-Royce Power Systems.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business or Supply Chain
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain
- Master's degree in Business or Supply Chain
- PhD in Business or Supply Chain
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, distribution management, inventory planning, or service operations
- 1+ year of experience in supply chain, distribution management, inventory planning, or service operations
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, distribution management, inventory planning, or service operations
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on SAP Material Planning experience (MM/MRP modules preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of an equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Advanced data management skills using Excel, Access, or similar tools
- Experience in spare parts planning, stocking strategy development, or supplier management in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
- Equivalent supply chain credential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving approach to managing complex, data-driven planning challenges
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Service, Order Management, and Finance teams
- Ability to communicate material availability and escalations clearly to internal stakeholders
