Job Summary
Parts Order Specialist at Hillsboro, OR for Peterson Cat. Responsible for supporting the Service Department with parts ordering, handling complex or large parts orders, identifying the best sourcing method, reducing emergency orders, and communicating estimated ship dates. Acts as liaison between the service department, parts department, and parts operations/back order office. Manages CPRO/FDO orders, monitors back orders and ESD changes, and updates the service team on parts availability. Occasionally supports Front Counter or Parts Sales to cover vacations. Requires strong communication and teamwork; familiarity with Cat systems (SIS, Antares) and DBS is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent)
- minimum of one (1) year of directly related experience in a CAT dealership parts warehouse; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- experience with Dealer Business System (DBS)
- knowledge of Cat systems such as SIS, Antares
